Aerosol spray cans were introduced in 1941. According to one industry executive, "The forerunner of today's aerosol was first widely used to protect U.S. servicemen from mosquitoes and malaria during World War II." Some 50 years later, the industry reports that it "recently reached the 3 billion mark in aerosol units filled." That's a lot of cans. But the important question is: Are aerosol cans safe for the environment or not? Here are some answers: Are they safe for the ozone layer? Until 1978, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) were used in aerosol cans as propellants, but which are destructive to the ozone layer. Most aerosol manufacturers substituted new gases that are not harmful to the ozone layer. However, there are exceptions. In some cases, manufacturers are using a chemical called 1,1,1 trichlorethane (also called TCA 1,1,1 and methyl chloroform) as solvents in aerosols. It can be just as bad for the ozone layer as CFCs. So be sure to check the ingredients of aerosol cans, even if they say "ozone friendly" on them. Are aerosol cans recyclable? They're made of steel, so the technical answer is yes. But the National Recycling Coalition tells us that very few of them actually gets recycled. It's a difficult process because the cans have to be drained and the plastic parts have to be removed. What's more, cans that contain hazardous material must be cleaned first.

Guangdong Sihai only took 10 days to complete the relocation, installation, adjusting and testing of the four major workshop production lines. The new address is as below showed A1, NO.13, FIRST WUSHI ROAD, ZHONGXIN TOWN, ZENGCHENG, GUANGZHOU, CHINA. Our company added two Soudronic welding machines and put into production for diameters of 45mm and 52mm, which greatly improve efficiency. At the same time, our company finished the installation of internal coating equipment for diameter 57mm line, and raise the efficiency of the diameter 60mm straight aerosol can production line. At present, the sizes that our company can do internal coating are diameter 45mm, 52mm, 65mm, and diameter 57mm. The inner coating aerosol can has a good protective effect on water-based and alcohol-based solvents, and it can protects from rust, keep the flavor longer, such as air fresheners and body deodorant agents. The warehouse of the new factory is just on the first floor, so the loading time is greatly shortened. At present, it only takes half an hour to complete a 40HQ container loading, , and for the carton packing can order also can be completed within 1 hour. Recently, a new animation film of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH illustrates packaging steel’s capability of being recycled over and over again – without any loss of quality. Thanks to its properties, steel remains in a closed cycle of consecutive utilization and recycling processes. Explains Carmen Tschage who is responsible for communication and market development at Germany’s only manufacturer of tinplate. “Recycling couldn’t be any easier than with tinplate, as it’s a magnetic packaging material that is virtually 100 percent recyclable. This can be clearly seen in the animation film. As of today, it is available for watching in German and in English on our website.” Recycling packaging steel saves valuable resources such as iron ore, coking coal and limestone. A tinplate can is therefore the perfect packaging for a future where packaging can be recycled multiple times. 84 percent of all steel ever produced are still in the material cycle today (Source: WV Stahl). “Consumers, manufacturers and the trade industry can have a share in protecting the environment and reducing CO2 emissions by selecting packaging material which stands for a closed material cycle, for multi-recycling and which safely protects the product.
