Dragon Boat Festival is on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month to respect our patriotic poet--Qu Yuan, which is a important traditional Chinese holiday. Because the emperor not accepted his advice then his country Chu was captured by Qin, he felt very sad and threw himself into Mi Luo River.
To commemorate Qu Yuan, people will eat Zongzi( which make by(glutinous rice,pork,bean,egg yolk and bamboo leaves ect.), hold dragon boat races, carry fragrant sachets and hang mugugwort on front of door to seek protect from evil and disease.
